Teaching content and objectives

The micro lesson focuses on snowboarding. In this micro lesson, I want to introduce the background of snowboarding and its five main categories of competitions.

Through the study of this micro lesson, I hopes learners to achieve the following four teaching objectives:
- First, by watching the micro lesson, learners can know about snowboarding and its five main competition.
- Second, through micro lesson learning, learners can distinguish between different snowboarding competition.
- Third, through micro lesson learning, learners can summarize the characteristics of different competitions.
- Fourth, through micro-video learning, learners can be interested in and participate in ice and snow sports.

Teaching process

The teaching process of snowboarding is divided into four parts:
- Introducing
- Teaching new knowledge ( background of snowboarding and its five main categories of competitions)
- Summarize
- Extended exercises

In the section on teaching new knowledge, snowboarding competition is divided into five categories. To help learners distinguish between different snowboarding competition, we could also design small exercises to help learners consolidate their knowledge.

Creation process

I selected the snowboarding topic for the micro lesson production. Using After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and other producing tools, completed the work including topic selection,  script writing, animation design, animation production, video editing, etc.
