Challenges I Overcame

Worked with the colleagues from defferent department

During my internship, I worked with a big team together to improve the product. In my daily work, in addition to UX designers, I usually need to communicate with people form other department like product managers, UX researchers and software engineers. Cooperation is difficult at the beginning because I didn't know what other departments needed and what information needed to be conveyed when we had a meeting. After getting familiar with the role and works of other departments and communicating with my mentor, I was gradually able to take charge of a project with other department.

Simultaneously do multiple tasks

Not just being responsible for some UX design tasks at once, other related tasks, such as competitive analytics, user report analysis, offline research, also need to be completed at the same time. My approach of multitasking was to prioritize  my work, and work on it according to the priority and the deadline I discussed with the team.

The most attractive part

During my internship in DiDi, I participated in an interesting user experience research. As a delivery driver, I experienced the daily life of a driver at first-hand. In-depth knew about the interactive experience and problems between the food delivery App and the driver. That day, I became a user of the product, think from the perspective of real users, and solve problems for them. I think that's the charming and important part of the user experience.
